Gearing up for those Spring and Summer Hamptons trips? There’s a new option for getting there with the unveiling of the LIRR’s Express “Cannonball.” From May 24th to Aug 30th, the Cannonball will whisk 1400 patrons to the beach every Friday at 4:07pm. The first stop will be Westhampton, a 94 minute train ride from Penn Station. The train will also make all Hamptons stops until the last stop at Montauk (6:48pm).
The price you may ask, only $27 for the basic service and $47 for a reserved seating with food and drinks.
