My stay at L7 Hongdae in Seoul began on a high note the moment I walked through the doors. Perched on the 21st floor the lobby featured three distinct areas: Check-In, Restaurant and Chill Lounge. The check-in process was impressively fast and hassle-free, with the friendly front desk staff greeting me warmly and speaking excellent English. Within minutes, I had my key card in hand and was already on my way up to my room. This seamless start to my trip not only saved time but immediately set the tone for a comfortable and stress-free stay.

On the ground floor, the chic Café Angel-in-us offered artisanal coffees, pastries, and light bites—the perfect spot for a morning pick-me-up.
For more substantial meals, the stylish in-house restaurant, The Place, served a variety of Italian dishes that catered to a wide range of palates. The rooftop offers a stunning pool and bar (unfortunately, it was closed for the season when I visited). If staying in shape while on holiday is your goal, their state-of-the-art fitness center will be the perfect place for you to exercise. The hotel’s location in the heart of Hongdae also deserves special praise: just outside the doors, a treasure trove of quirky boutiques and shops such as M Playground, trendy bars, and diverse restaurants awaited exploration, ensuring there was never a dull moment.
