Because of this, more people than ever are going on spiritual tours of the country’s “Deep West.” These lands are less explored and more given over to nature, making them ideal stomping grounds for anyone wanting to experience a sense of revelation. 

So, where should you go for a spiritual trip? Let’s take a look at some options.

Joshua Tree in California, sometimes called the “Desert of Dreams” should be top of your list. Its twisted trees and sprawling desert have long been a beacon for mystics, artists, and seekers. The peaceful landscape more often than not feels like a kind of spiritual starting point; many people seek meditation and creativity here. Others come for sound baths and stargazing, activities that enhance the mystique of an already-enchanted park. What’s more, it’s close to places like San Francisco and Sacramento, meaning you can quite easily incorporate it into a wider tour of the region.
