A New All-Suite Luxury Retreat In India | ITC Grand Bharat Hotel
Is India on your bucket list? If not, here’s a reason why it should be: the new ITC Grand Bharat Hotel near the capital of New Dehli. The country’s first all-suite retreat will feature culinary, recreation and wellness experiences including South Asia’s first and only 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and ITC’s internationally acclaimed indigenous spa brand, Kaya Kalp.
Set amidst the ancient Aravali hills, the 300-acre estate is located 45 minutes from the capital city of New Delhi in Gurgaon. The ITC Grand Bharat was built in tribute to the grandeur of India (Bharat is the Hindi name for India), with nationally inspired architecture, interior design and Indian hospitality. The 100 luxury suites and four presidential villas are each catered to by “Retreat Hosts,” facilitating experiences for resident guests. Here’s an overview of what guests can expect at this new hotel:
Responsible Luxury
ITC Grand Bharat is a confluence of local traditions, historic architecture, modern technology, the finest in service and authentic cultural experiences – all designed to deliver the highest levels of luxury for guests without burdening the environment and to the fullest benefit to the local community.
Accommodation
There are 100 Deluxe Suites and four Presidential Suites. Suites either feature lounging patios that lead to semi-private lap pools, or spacious terraces with picturesque views. The living room, bedroom and bathroom are all private spaces, which are compartmentalized by sliding doors, ensuring privacy yet providing the atmosphere of an elegantly appointed residence. A “Retreat Host” (butler) is available 24/7 to attend to guests’ every need, while remaining unobtrusive and ensuring privacy.
The four palatial Presidential residences have a fleet of service associates in attendance around the clock. Each villa design is inspired by a dynasty from India’s past – Maurya, Mughal, Maratha and Chola.
Food & Beverage
With a “Well-Being” chef at the helm, the resort’s kitchens feature low-calorie and “Swasthya” cuisine: food well researched and inspired to attain a complete sense of physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Dining options include: Aravali Pavilion (showcasing Modern India Mosaics), The India Room (debuting creative European classics), the Peacock Bar (featuring molecular cocktails plus an extensive wine and malt collection) and Apas Promenade (poolside marquee lounge featuring regional specialties).
