Sperry has duck boots! Did you know? I didn’t until recently.
The preppy brand known for their classic boat shoes, has a few collections of duck boots.
I had an opportunity to try out a pair of the all-black Avenue Winter Duck Boots on a trip to Beacon, NY. I personally don’t see that many people with that all-black duck boots, so of course I had to choose that colorway. I honestly can’t believe how comfortable these boots are…honestly. I’ve had duck boots in the past from numerous brands, and although aesthetically they look great, they could sometimes be hard on my feet, causing me to have to buy insoles. I purposefully only packed my Avenue Winter Duck Boots as my main footwear for my two-day upstate trip. Not once during my trip I complained that my feet were hurting. My feet stayed warm and dry as my friends and I trekked through multiple distilleries, brewery’s, restaurants and museums while in Beacon.
These boots are made for winter as they are seam-sealed with waterproof construction. The leather that makes up the upper portion of the boot is made of stain and water resistant leather that provides durability and lasting wear. It’s fully Thinsulate lined and has a full length memory foam footbed with warm thermal linings.
Also, if comfort and durability wasn’t enough, they have a neat design that received a lot of attention while on my trip.
