With a flip of the calendar, summer is almost here and thanks to Nautica, luxe men will have an opportunity to spruce up their personal watch collections with several new styles. At a recent fashion blogger lunch, Nautica announced their newest additions to their popular watch collections. LuxuriousPROTOTYPE got a sneak peak of these nautically inspired men’s timepieces.
The newest members of the Nautica watch collection stay true to the brand’s tradition of refined casual classics. The 4 styles of men’s watches revealed at the launch are in sync with the Nautica brand and luxury appeal.
The BFD 100 Multi Sea of Colors and Multi Whites will be great for men who want to add a masculine pop of color to summer wear. The Multi Sea of Colors compliments the brand’s signature BFD 100 collection of watches. With several vibrant and fun colors to choose from, it won’t be difficult to select at least one or possibly more to accent your summer beach or BBQ attire.
The BFD 100 Multi Whites showcase white resin straps and white dial detailing. Several choices of additional color detailing are available for these summer-white inspired watches. The colors are splashed on each dial and etched bezel contrast, providing a bright contrast for this classic mariner wristwatch. These watches feature a 46mm case with water resistance up to 100M.
Nautica also added new seafaring styling elements for their BFD collection. The addition of the BFD 101 Dive Style Flag design is great for boaters and even land lovers. Each of these timepieces highlights the watch face with maritime code flags. This sporty watch is available in stainless steel bracelet or with black, white, yellow, red or blue resin straps, has a 44mm case size and features data and stopwatch functions.
Another watch unveiled by Nautica is the NST 550, which has huge luxe appeal. The NST 550 is an updated classic with a hip sporty twist. This wristwatch is definitely bold enough for summer outings but sophisticated and classic to be worn at the office. It is an attention grabber with any wardrobe and is big and bold with the larger 47mm stainless steel case. The NST 550 offers several strap options: resin in an assortment of colors, polyurethane leather and stainless steel bracelet.
Rounding out the new styles, colors and updates to the Nautica watch collection is the NMX 650. The NMX 650 is a new sport watch with a very crisp and distinct watch face. This newest member of the Nautica time club is just in time for summertime fun. The NMX 650 has a distinct ripple watchstrap that is designed to flex and expand over a wet suit. However, if you are only sporting the watch for an evening concert in the park, this timepiece still radiates a strong masculine vibe. The NMX 650 is available in bright and basic colors: black, blue, orange, green and yellow. Markers and numerals on the turning bezel match the strap color and second-hand.
