NYFW Review & Photos: Nicholas K Fall/Winter 2012

If there were ever a mash up between cowboys and the cool trendy kids Nicholas K Fall 2012 Men’s Collection would be it. Well, actually its a mixture of many styles, including hobo chic, but it works.

These are not the threads you’ll find in any old western movie, however, its plain to see where the inspiration came from when designing the collection. With the use of cowboys hats mixed with draped ponchos, leather jackets, and thin knits the collection took on sort of an eclectic look. There was an emphasis on layering in this collection that is spot on for Fall 2012. The mixture of different fabrics and textures not only looks good but it is practical, especially on those more than windy days. Designers Christopher Kunz and Nicholas Kunz did their magic and created a unique collection.
