Ahoy Matey, Nautica went back to their roots for a full fledged nautical Fall 2012 presentation. The Nautica Fall 2012 Collection was inspired by the iconic watermen of the American northeast coast. The presentation was set up to have four different categories/looks: Sailmakers, Dockhands, Admirals and Coastal Prepster.
The collection features shawl cable knit sweaters, indigo cotton jeans, oxford button downs, classic peacoats and more. In keeping true to prepdom, layering was a must. Sticking with the nautical theme, the color blue (in all shades) was seen in practically all of the looks. The preppies are winning for Fall 2012. Since the emergence of shows such as Gossip Girl, the prep look has taken over and Nautica is making sure that it is the running with this collection. Final Note: Be sure to pay attention to Nautica, something’s changing and I like it!
