Glam Rock Watches Spring 2012 Collections.

We here at LuxuriousPROTOTYPE had the pleasure of recently attending the Miami-based watch brand, Glam Rock,  Spring 2012 Men’s and Women’s Collections Presentation at New York City’s members-only club, SoHo House. Glam Rock is a great investment piece, as each watch’s bezel and strap are interchangeable for dozens of others.  Swiss movements and Italian leathers juxtapose the versatility of the watches’ interchangeable parts, striking the perfect balance between luxury and functionality. Think multiple watches in one.

Glam Rock designer and founder Enrico Margaritelli was on site at SoHo House to share the inspiration for the collection and what it means for the brand’s future.

Thanks to the success of the brand’s SoBe collection in which case covers easily pop off with Glam Rock’s patented ‘Just Click’ technology, Margaritelli decided to bring this breakthrough concept one step further for Spring.  New men’s pieces boast oversized dials and industrial looking carbon-fiber straps and faces.  Superlumiova markers and sporty perforated rubbers and leathers give the line a new edgy feel inspired by engines and mechanics.  On the other hand, dressy bracelet straps in stainless steel or rose gold look great paired with diamond-embellished bezels and a sharp suit.
