For over a decade, Freemans Sporting Club has created a reputation for quality in American-made tailored clothing and sportswear at their flagship shop on Freemans Alley in downtown New York. The traditional Americana menswear collection is comprised of well made essentials for every man’s wardrobe.
Starting Friday through October 27th, Freemans will be offering a very special promotion on its made to measure suiting program.
The Made to Measure program started about 5 years ago when Freemans Sporting Club made the decision to update their suit pattern that would fit the needs of the contemporary man — comfortable to wear and durable. They created a fully canvassed hand finished suit, with soft shoulder and high armhole, made in America with a selection of fabrics from all over the world. The shoulder was the biggest challenge because with no structure at all, it can make the suit look too casual. However, a very structured shoulder is both less comfortable and can look a bit stodgy, What finally resulted, after close to a year of adjusting the pattern is a suit that men actually want to wear because it is extremely comfortable looks contemporary and can transition from a more business style to a more casual style.
A made to measure suit is created over the course of 2 in store appointments — an initial fitting to explain the program and to get fitted, and then a second fitting 6-8 weeks later to work on sleeves and hems. The final suit is available for pick up 2 weeks after that.
Suits run about $1700 taking into account fabric.
Starting October 5th through October 27th, if you come in to get a M2M suit, you’ll receive 20% off your purchase. If you refer a friend, you and your friend receive 30% off as first time customers.
