Nicola Formichetti, the Japanese-Italian designer and stylist, has created a new line of luxurious jewelry for Didier Dubot featuring his famous ‘Nicopanda’ bear motif.
Unveiled earlier this year in Korea, the brand will present the line in New York City for the first time Tuesday.
Formichetti, who is currently artistic director at Italian fashion brand Diesel, has created a whole collection of fine jewelry packed with ‘Nicopandas’ and snakes (to commemorate this year’s Chinese calendar animal), as well as the signature Didier Dubot floral motif.
The line features his-and-hers lock and key necklaces; gold, silver and pearl ‘statement’ necklaces; panda head safety pin necklaces; and snake earrings and rings.
