Bow-Tie 101.

Be Bold and Different and try a bow-tie as oppose to a regular tie. Bow ties dates back to the 17th century where Croatian mercenaries wore them during the Prussian Wars. Back during those times the men wore scarfs around their neck in which they tied in a knot to keep the tops of their shirt together. This method was later adapted by the French and became more of a status piece, worn by the wealthy. Now the bow-tie can be adorned in many different fashions. You can prep it up with a blazer or you can dress it down by adding denim or leather. If you have any interesting ways in which you wear your bow-tie send me photos! Phaon@luxuriousprototype.com
