Last Monday night, Esquire Magazine celebrated 80 years of bringing style to men all over the world. Only a publication of Esquire’s caliber could bring us an evening of Armani on a Monday in Manhattan. The Armani Flagship store at 760 Madison Avenue was transformed from fashion house to cocktail lounge as models swathed in black handed out champagne, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and cigars.
Standing atop the four-story building on the newly renovated Armani rooftop, surrounded by the lights of the city and the chocolate scent of fine cigars, one could not help but be seduced by the luxury of it all. It also gave attendees the chance to explore the Armani fall and winter collection on display, from silk ties to coats and shoes in the house’s traditional dark, sleek and classic style. In honor of Esquire’s landmark, the store provided exclusive access to 80 fabrics from the Armani Made to Measure Collection.
More importantly, 10% of sales from this event went to the Health and Humanitarian Aid Foundation. It was an evening to enjoy the finer things in life, celebrate the achievement of an outstanding publication and even do a little bit of good for the world.
