Last night, November 9, 2012, the New York Junior League hosted their 14th Annual Fall Fête at the Union Club in the Upper East Side neighborhood of New York City. The event was a fundraiser in which the proceeds from Fall Fête ticket sales went to support the New York Junior League’s charitable activities, including the Playground Improvement Project, one of the NYJL’s signature community programs as well as Hurricane Sandy relief efforts in New York City.
In addition to the ticket sales, this year the New York Junior League held a live and silent auction that included items such as: a weekend at Eden Rock in St. Barth’s; tickets to watch What Happens Live; a foursome at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster; a weekend in Las Vegas at The Cosmopolitan; signed sports memorabilia from the Giants, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic; vacations in Saint Lucia, Barbados and Aruba and so much more! The auctioneer of the night was Stephanie Ruhle, an anchor for Bloomberg Television and advocate for women’s leadership and business leadership development.
New York Junior League pulled out all stops for the event. Here are the details:
- Elegant venue – Union Club of NYC
- 4 hour premium open bar
- Appetizers…for days!
- Live and silent auctions
- Amazing wait staff
- Cheerful and energetic guests
- Fundraising
What else could one ask for? The New York Junior League had an amazing event with a great turnout. Not only did guests have a great time (from the looks of it), but they also contributed to helping others. We look forward to the 15th Annual Fall Fete! We will be sure to keep you posted on how much money was raised at the event. Check out more photos below (also check out our camera phone shots):
