2013 New York Oyster Week is a celebration of the benevolent bivalve loved and consumed by so many New Yorkers. These delicious and nutritious creatures have fed our bodies, cleaned our waters, powered our libidos and inspired us for eons. September 20th – September 29th Oyster Week sets to regale the noble oyster and its role in the history, culture, cuisine, economy & ecology of New York.
Kevin Joseph (Creator, Co-Founder & CEO) grew up in a seafood restaurant family in East Hampton, NY and Naples, FL. After college in Boulder, CO, he began to pursue a career in event marketing. NYOW is the perfect fusion of his lives experiences, the things he knows best, Seafood & Events. The rest of his story and expertise is in marketing. He is the Founder and CEO of Otaku marketing OBSESSION and he brings a vast network and marketing expertise to New York City and Oyster Week
