On Thursday, October 11th, we will host the 3rd Annual Speakeasy Benefit Reception for Safe Horizon, the nation’s largest victim services agency.
Safe Horizon provides advocacy and support to victims of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, and youth homelessness – each year touching the lives of over 250,000 people. They supply victims and their families with the services necessary to overcome crisis created by abuse and break the cycles of violence in their lives.
By purchasing a single $150 ticket, you can help support:
– A day of childcare while a parent is in court testifying about abuse
– Legal assistance in obtaining an order of protection for a survivor of domestic violence
Through the purchase of a couple’s ticket at $250, you could help cover:
– 75 healthy meals and snacks for youth experiencing homelessness
– 100 calls to one of our victim services hotlines
– A ‘starter kit’ containing the essentials a family will need to start over
