On September 20, 2012 The Men’s Collective hosted the “Fall of Men” event at the Fifth Avenue Club located in Saks Fifth Ave in New York City. The event introduced the guests, made up of mostly men, to the Saks Men’s Club free wardrobe consultant services. While the guest purused the club, they sipped on specialty whiskey cocktails that were provided by Chivas. For the men who had questions on suiting options, Tony Lutwyche was on hand to answer any questions and provide advice. Tony, an expert in suit design, is the owner of a Saville Row hand tailored suit shop called Lutwyche.
If that wasn’t enough, John Allan’s provided free manicures and shoe shines to every guest, just to top it off. Guests left the event with a copy of Esquire’s latest magazine & Handbook of Style and $500 towards a custom Saks suit.
The Men’s Collective has perfected the art of cultivating great networking and informative gentlemen geared events. The collective celebrates the art of being a gentleman by connecting Men’s Luxury Brands with their members, professional men ages 28-45. Through live events and interactive tools, The Collective promotes the 4 pillars of a gentleman:
Fashion, Arts, Sport, & Lifestyle
The events feature speakers who are professionals in unique areas of expertise. A humble fellowship of like-minded men, members enjoy the products and knowledge of focus for the evening, with the belief that, the more one knows about a product, idea, or activity the better one can enjoy it.
Each night is an adventurous evening for gentlemen who are seeking an experience that expands the palette as well as the intellect. Their past events have included cigar lessons with Nat Sherman, scotch lessons from a scotch master, Bordeaux tastings, custom shirts with a Paris-based tailor, tequila tastings with Don Julio and lawn bowling with the New York Lawn Bowling Club.
Every meeting of The Collective brings together a wide and talented demographic of men largely, New York City professionals sharing common traits – the pleasure of learning and the joy of good company.
