Chivas Regal presents two amazing stories about real friendship directed by Academy Award winning short film maker Joachim Back. Chivas Regal is a blended Scotch whisky produced by Chivas Brothers, owned by Pernod Ricard. Chivas Brothers was first established in 1801 in Aberdeen, Scotland. The Chivas brand’s home is Strathisla Distillery at Keith, Moray in Speyside, Scotland.
The films are part of Chivas Regal ongoing “Live with Chivalry” campaign which launched in 2008 and encourages men to aspire not just to have more, but to be more. Chivas Regal collaboration with Joachim Back is a step in the right direction of bringing chivalry back to this industry that is bombarded with “frat” drinking.
Here’s to Big Bear follows Joe, Sammy, Nicolas and Emilio as they find themselves stranded at a train station in the middle of nowhere after getting off at the wrong stop. Suited, booted and stranded in the desert in black tie, we follow the friends on an interesting journey that finally leads them to an awkward moment with Big Bear.
Here’s to Twinkle recounts the time when the friends came together to support Sammy during a bad break-up. The group share stories, reflect on the good times and in the end toast the welcomed arrival of Twinkle.
In addition to the short films, Chivas Regal created the Chivas Brotherhood at the 1801 Club. The 1801 Club offers Chivas Brotherhood members access to exclusive, RSVP-only events at private venues in different cities. You can unwind, network, connect with other Brotherhood members and, of course, taste some Chivas. I had the pleasure of attending an event and it truly was an experience. Picture a private event in a four story brownstone in the beautiful neighborhood of West Village NYC. The private event featured taste testing of the 25 year old Chivas Regal, a gadget room to test out the latest in technology, billiards, poker room, vintage watch collection preview and some of the best hors d’oeuvres I’ve tasted. Make sure to sign up to attend the next event!
Live with Chivalry.

Shame on Chivas Brothers Ltd for tainting the noble aspirations of “Chivalry” with their dealings
Since Pernod Ricard became the guardians of the iconic brand that is Chivas Regal, the Chivas Brothers has become a joke organisation in the Scotch Whisky Industry and has absolutely nothing to do with the concepts of integrity, honesty or fair-play. But don’t take my word for it – check out the Scottish legal system (http://www.scotcourts.gov.uk/) and search for Chivas in their proceedings. It speaks for itself!!
