Ok, I have been slacking MAJORLY!! I havent posted in a minute!
Well on November 4, 2008 the United States of America voted its FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. This is truly a HISTORIC day in not only this country but for others as well. This man is Educated (Columbia and Harvard Grad), Qualified (Senator), Well Groomed, & Down to Earth! He is my president, he just so happens to be a BLACK MAN!!
I am so overwhelemed about this historic moment! WE DID IT! CHANGE!
On a sour note, I am very disheartend to hear that some of my friends who live in the south have heard such negative remarks from their so called friends. Most of the cmments were race related. The south is so small minded, I am grateful that I do not live there any more…If i was to move back I would def only be ther for a short amount of time. This goes to show you people can smile in your face but still not like you or yoru race. Its pure ignorance!
