About two weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend a private brunch at Cornerstone Restaurant & Lounge located in Fort Green Brooklyn.
Put it like this, I didn’t want to leave! The food and drinks were quite satisfying. I tried the Chicken and Waffles. It was my first time ever having this dish. It’s a Southern Dish, however it’s not a traditional dish in Louisiana, where I am from. Let me say, that had to be the best introduction to that dish! The chicken was moist and the waffles were fluffy. What better way to wash this dish down then with some mimosa’s and bellini’s. I was thoroughly pleased with the down-home, hospitable service. The restaurant is dedicated to supporting small farms and sustainable agriculture. They cook with fresh produce delivered every day and choose organic whenever possible. Another great thing about the restaurant is that they serve hormone and antibiotic-free meats. #WINNING
