Event: Athletes vs. Cancer presented by Matt Barnes, Maserati & Gotham Magazine.

Last night, December 12, 2010 I had the opportunity to attend the Athletes vs. Cancer at Maserati of Manhattan. The event was hosted by Matt Barnes of the Los Angeles Lakers. The sponsors of the event were Gotham Magazine, Maserati of Manhattan, Prosecco Wine, Elusion Clothing, Heineken, Grey Goose and more.

Celebrities such as Gloria Barnes, Tyson Beckford, Melyssa Ford, Sachika Twins and more all attended in the fight against Cancer. At the event, Matt Barnes shared a heart felt story about his mother passing away in 26 days from her diagnosis of cancer. While at the event there was a silent auction for some great gifts such as a football autographed by a NFL player. I had an amazing time at this event and FULLY support the cause! Also, the owner of Maserati auctioned off a pair of $3,000 Louis Vuitton shoes. The shoes went for $2,500.
