The B Wood Concept Store First Come First Serve is a 3-Day event in New York City’s Greenwich Village.
Brian will be collaborating with Brooklyn based boutique Vinnie’s Styles, and artist Derrick Adams. Their focus is providing a fun shopping atmosphere for the consumers with a minimalist/clean aesthetic. The First Come First Serve concept will feature limited edition designed t-shirts, lifestyle products, retro re-issues and 1 off handmade pieces.
DAY 1 – Aug 4th: B WOOD X DERRICK ADAMS “FIRST COME FIRST SERVE” Release
Brian Wood collaborates with artist Derrick Adams for the release of “First Come First Serve.” Brian and Derrick were inspired to bring awareness on the urgent subject matter of Global warming through a playful melting ice cream design. This T-shirt will be a one-time release and will only be available for sale at the event.
Derrick Adams is a Brooklyn artist who is currently represented by Collette Blanchard Gallery.
He has recently had solo exhibitions such as “Go Stand next To the Mountain” at the Kitchen (2010) and “Bizarro Wiz” for NADA Art fame in Miami (2009). He is also the founding director of Rush Arts Gallery, which is a core program of the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation that was started by brothers Russell, Danny and Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons.
A B Wood produced “Summer Sundae Mix-tape” featuring a host of up-and-coming NYC based artists from various musical genres will be released and given with a purchase of the First Come First Serve” shirt.
DAY 2 – Aug 5th: B WOOD x VINNIE’S
Day 2 fuses B Wood with Brooklyn based boutique Vinnie’s Styles, a longtime supporter of Brian’s brand for the release of “Welcome to Our Jungle.” The products’ release will feature men’s t-shirts, beach towels, sweatbands and wristbands. They will also release retro-reissues including the 90’s Alumni, Count Vinnie, Brooklyn Bart, and more.

DAY 3 – Aug 6th: Will feature a collective of NYC-based emerging designers.
